Key Responsibilities
Oversee the restaurant’s opening/Mid/closing procedures and go through the specific checklists to ensure proper respect of norms and guidelines
Oversee tasks done by all sta ff members and closely follow up and double check on the team’s work to maintain an error free operation
Ensure that all guests have received their orders correctly and ensure that food presentation is as per standard and report any problem to guarantee quick solutions
Oversee the inventory cycle count to preserve accuracy and cost control
Drive towards achieving the organiza ti on’s goals, the set targets of the brand and ensure proper implementa ti on of the SOP
Coach, train, motivate and appraise team members’ performance in order to optimize their contribution to the company and support their skill development as needed
Analyze reports from statistical and functional metrics and share insights for improvement and efficiency maximization in a timely manner
Review the monthly P&L providing explana ti on when necessary, as well as plan the monthly and daily sales objec ti ves and take necessary measures to meet them
Implement and improve the quality and food safety management system as per the requirements of applicable national statutory and regulatory requirements as well as international standards and guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
8-10 years of experience in F&B operation, including a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Fluency in English; French is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office
Key Responsibilities
Manage compliance to confirm that all policies, standard procedures, recipes, serving portions, cooking techniques, quality standards, kitchen rules and hygiene regulations are being followed and implemented
Oversee the Kitchen’s opening/Mid/closing procedures and go through the specific checklists to ensure proper respect of norms and guidelines
Check the shelf life of products, control the expiry dates and plan waste reduction to maintain cost efficiency
Communicate with the Restaurant Manager on reservations and functions in order to estimate food consumption and order requisitions and prepare accordingly.
Oversee all dishes before serving them and take all necessary measure to ensure that all dishes are being served according to standard specifications
Oversee the receiving of goods within the required specifications and secure proper storage in the kitchen to ensure that dishes include the best possible ingredients
Ensure that food production and quality are consistent with set standards to maximize guest satisfaction
Check on kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning, maintenance and
inform the maintenance team of any need in a timely manner

Qualifications
Technical Degree in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
8-10 years of experience in F&B / Kitchen operation, including a minimum of 2 year in a similar role

DescriptionThe Restaurant Chef will be responsible to support the strategic initiatives and objectives of the Kitchen Department. The function should be supportive, proactive, analytical and entrepreneurial; creating memorable moments for our guests, fostering an empowered environment for the team whilst collaborating closely with their immediate report and key business partners in order to deliver quality results.
Roles/Responsibilities1.Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience throughout the whole Hotel are delivered to the highest level, ensuring both property and company standards are attained and adhered to.2.Lead and collaborate with the team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.3.Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the kitchen department, taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility and deputizing for the Head of Department in their absence.4.With the Head of Department take a leadership role in fostering a culture of growth, development and performance whilst promoting the company culture and values.5.Collaborates with the Head of Department, ensuring that costs and departmental inventory is controlled and that target productivity and performance levels are attained6.Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications/activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.7.Review and scrutinize the performance of the food offering, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance, including working with internal and external partners on adhoc projects.8.Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
